  1. For CMSP coal blocks, substantial part of the information provided hereinafter is from the submissions of prior allottee of the coal blocks.
  2. The Geographical Coordinates provided are provisional and may vary slightly.
  3. Assessment of geological resource (reserve), as per geological report for any coal block, is based on the level of exploration and Indian Standard Procedure (ISP norms) for coal reserve estimation. The estimate of resource(reserve) may vary due to any one or more of the following considerations:
    • Assessment of resource by considering cut-off coal seam thickness of 0.90m or more;
    • Categorisation of carbonaceous horizon by considering cut-off point of 55% of ash & moisture; However, if the low ash carbonaceous shale (55% to 65% ash+ moisture) is considered the resources may vary;
    • Deduction of 10% for geological uncertainties for arriving at ‘Net’ resource (reserve);
    • Assessment of resource considering combustible bands having thickness upto 30cm (I30 thickness) or 100cm (I00 thickness); or,
    • Any other consideration mentioned in geological report of the coal block.
  4. Assessment of tentative Peak Rated Mine Capacity is based on feasible workable solution based on available information and interpretation. The prospective bidders/users are strongly advised to use their discretion and/ or expert opinion for assessment of geological resource and feasible technical solution to arrive at likely mine capacity.
